Founder: Cathrine Maloney, Camden New Jersey

The year was 1922 John Maloney of old… had a very monotonus job working at Cambell Soup in Camden New Jersey, his job was to drop a chunk of pork in each can of Cambells Soup "Pork and Beans" , so he decided to take a more exciting job… a laborer building the 30th Street Bridge in Philadelphia, soon afterwards he got injured by a granite block on the job, so he decided to take a "night job" with the Philadelphia Police Department… When Johns wife; Catherine Maloney heard this she said…"No Husbasd of mine works the Night Shift for the Philadelphia Police!" … then she decided to go into business for her family and open a trucking Company " J J Maloney Company" She had been an accountant for a trucking company at the time so she was familiar with the job. She solicited a few accounts ,put a down payment on a truck , John was the driver, Catherine was the bookeeper and the rest is history!
